horoscopes

In my twenty years experience as an astrologer, I have never compromised astrology for few currencies. Secondly, I am definitely not one among them (some astrologers) who either endorse or reject the horoscope matching outright on the basis of mere Kuta agreement (Gun-Milan simply based on Raashi or Nakshatra). I always suggest that while matching horoscopes more importance must be given to the general strengths in the Birth-Charts of a boy and a girl rather than depending simply on Kuta agreements.

I have been arguing since last twenty years that matching of horoscope must not be based on the Kuta agreement alone but utmost importance must be given to each house (Bhava) in the horoscope of a boy and a girl while matching the Birth-Charts. Secondly, I always believe that simple presence of a marriage-Yog (Shubh Vivah Yog due to past birth good Karma) in the Birth Chart of a boy or a girl is more than enough for a boy or a girl to enjoy his / her married life happily.

Nevertheless, supposing if a reasonable Shubh Vivah Yog is traced in a boy’s (or in a girl’s) horoscope and if the same is not present in a girl’s (or a boy’s) horoscope then matching the horoscopes on the basis of Kuta agreement alone is a mere waste even if we get the score 36 out of 36! One may get cent percent matching based on Raashi or Nakshatra but what about the other prospects in the horoscopes like Shubh Yog or Ashubh Yog traced in the Birth-Charts?

If the seventh house (house of marriage) or its lord is heavily afflicted or if the 4th house (general satisfaction in the married life) is powerfully occupied by Shani or Rahu or if the 5th house (house indicating offspring) and its lord is ill placed in both the horoscopes then the married life will be meaningless!….…..and……….nobody will ever come to know about these negative aspects while matching the horoscopes based on Raashi & Nakshatra whether through traditional Panchang or modern computer!!!

Astrologically speaking, horoscope matching between a boy and a girl is perhaps the very last step but utmost important feature after taking all the other considerations like their educational qualifications, physical appearances, employment, financial and social status of their family, cultural or economic background, Kula, Gotra etc. etc.

In experience, it has been found many marriages ending up in severe disappointment even after getting cent percent Kuta agreement based on Nakshatra and Raashi; similarly, it has also been found that many golden chances have got away from the hands of parents due to rejection through snap-shot horoscope matching based on Kuta agreements.

Horoscope matching for marriage is an important branch in astrology.  It is a responsible job for an astrologer to workout accurately. It requires not only practical experience but also knowledge in theoretical aspects of astrology……………….

Those who are interested in knowing more about the outcome due to ill placement of planets in the 4th, 5th or 7th house in the horoscopes are requested to visit my website www.astrologicalguidence.com and read the articles there related to marriage.

The marriage season has begun and many parents might be rushing to astrologers for horoscope matching for their beloveds. In this juncture, I suggest them to consult such astrologers (not necessarily me) who also consider the general strength of horoscopes while matching for alliance.

I truly appreciate the effort put in by Mr Iyer in pointing out some very key inputs about match making using horoscopes, but I believe it would really help if opinions of parents are also sought to this blog, as eventually they are the ultimate decision makers in this whole affair and their decisions could make or break a prospective relationship.

    hello Mr Iyer….

it was wonderful information , but just a few queries..

horoscope matching…. just wanted to know if… it differs… i mean to ask… do the dates or vivah mahurats change according to a way the horoscopes are matched.. in my case i am a maharastrian getting married to a malayali boy… the dates considered as auspicious according to the astrologer from their end(in d south)… actually show as ashubh according to the panchang and horoscopes matched here (in maharashtra)… why is that so..??? CONFUSED… can u plz comment on this ..???
