pyogaEveryone knows that being fit is important to compete in this world. That’s the reason why everyday the number of swimming pools, fitness centers and yoga classes is rising. Today we hear a lot about power yoga. Right from Richard Gere to Madonna, everyone has understood the importance of power yoga. This form of yoga is basically a westernized version. But it is more intense than normal yoga. Hence, there are a few tips which you must know while you get into power yoga:

Power yoga gurus advise to keep the temperature at about 80 degree F so as to relax the muscles while you are doing power yoga.

If you are a beginner then you must not increase the heat all of a sudden. Increase the temperature by 2-3 degrees F everyday. And first, you must be comfortable in your yoga asanas.

You must get training from an experienced and expert guru. This will give apt training to your body and you can take up asanas with ease.

In power yoga haste is simply a waste. You must be patient and have proper balance between your asanas and breathing.

If you don’t have a trainer who can train you then you can take help of books and DVDs on power yoga.

    Yoga Spaces…

From Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog) you’re supposed to be able to jumpthrough into a seated position. When I try this, my feet can only jump as far as my hands. Are my arms too short relative to my legs for this action?…
