1) The Thumb:

The thumb finger is nearest to you, so pray for those who are closest to you.

2) Pointing finger:

Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal.

3) Tallest finger:

It is the tallest of them all. So, pray for our leaders, they need God’s grace and guidance.

4) Ring finger:

The ring finger is the weakest finger… so pray for those who are weak, troubled or in   pain.

5) Little finger:

It is the smallest finger – to remind us to pray for yourself.

Thus, our fingers symbolize our love for ourselves and love for our brethren.

Each finger is a living testament that we need each other in our endeavor as we follow the path that God has prepared for us as we look forward into the life he had promised to his children.

May this ’5 finger prayer’ be instilled in our hearts to create a magical change of this crooked  world for the glory of humankind and most of all for the glory of our Almighty creator of life.
