One day, God had a work for me to do.

He showed a rock and told me to push it with all my might,

for many years, I pushed and pushed but nothing happened.

The rock hasn’t moved even an inch.

In discouragement, I asked God why am I failing.

The Lord responded: “Your task is to push the rock. Never did I mention that you move it.

Now I, my child, will move the rock”…

This is the famous text message I had ever received.

A reminder that taught us that our responsibilities are bonded with our limitations.

In this world, God has given us tasks to accomplish (which are our responsibilities) and at times we felt ungrateful for our failures (which are our limitations) and in disgust without even evaluating ourselves, without checking what is expected on our output to that of the task given, we often times asked God why?

This is the misconception that has driven us into a wrong way.

We aim high and yet our tasks to comply upon is not higher than our wants. Thus, it brings discontentment and discouragement.

We better work out on the things we ought to do and do not aim for more which is beyond our tasks.

It is indeed the work of the Lord to polish everything.
