I wrote your name

on the sand, just for

fun. I spelled it,

each sound from my

core, rolled out and

reverberated in the air.

I tasted your name

I kissed it, each word

and let it out, like doves

to reach you, in air.

Like the candy melting

in my palm, your name

melted out of my being

poured down me, sweetening me

coloring me all along.

orange , red and blue.

I walked around your

name, on the sand. My anklets

giggling in shying dreams

I caressed the sand

my toes tickling the grains

I could kiss each, as if your

crumbled being lay beneath

my feet, to awaken out of dust.

If I could mould you now,

out of this wet sand, with waves

in gentle strokes beckoning

with the sun watching in awe

I would have made you

just like in my dreams

smiling and shining, as

when you had waved a bye

and given me a kiss in the air

leaving me walking in dreams

awaiting you, to behold.
