Hope disappears like a wind,
Like a song which ended its tune until the last note had been sung,
Like a bright day snatched by unceasing coming of the night,
But never Your faithful touch dear Lord.
Pressing cares and trials may appear like hundreds of soldiers
Ready to slay their enemies,
Like a successive rushing waves of a vast ocean,
Like a storm intruding every home,
But my unwavering trust to You
Gets even stronger all the sunsets and sunrises of my life.
Life can be stained with the color of confusion,
Trailed by enduring height of the mountain of gloom,
Beleaguered by the stretching clouds pouring the rain of disbelief,
But Your powerful words are countless stars of truth
Which I uphold in the core of my very soul!
Until we have life,
Dare not to lose our grasp
To the One who gives perpetual blessings!
Until we have life,
He is our anchor of hope,
He is our rock of strength,
Our Father in Heaven who incessantly gaze at us day after day!
